If you do not have access to twigs and branches that have fallen on or near your property, but would like to have excellent kindling, then this is a great place to start! Kindling is better for the creation of a sustained fire than using fire-starters alone any day! The kindling will turn into an ember, keeping the "heat on" under the fire long after a fire-starter has exhausted itself. Using both is a near 100% chance of having the fire start the FIRST time!
